lynette miller
Miller creates geometrical landscapes through digitally cropping parts of her photographs into simple shapes such as rectangles, circles and squares. These shapes are then often offset, rotated then edited with a drop shadow to create a three dimensional look to the work. It is important to note that the photograph does not become distorted, the image can be seen clearly within the geometrical shapes. A juxtaposition is created between the soft, natural forms of the landscape and the harder, more angular geometrical shapes.
